Weekly Update: Back to School, and The Crap That Comes With It

Hello Loves!

I know its been awhile (like 2 months oops) and Im deeply sorry for any of yall who read my blog, If anybody reads this! Anyway, shall we get to it?

I think Im gonna start posting twice a week. Once a week will be Weekly Update, A short news letter of sorts along with some interesting tid bits about me! So this first one will be about school, since it is back to school and that can be a HUGE trigger for a lot of people.

Back To School
School is so so so stressful. I understand that, Freshman are scared about starting high school, Sophomores are worried about keeping their GPAs up, Juniors and Seniors are stressing about ACT, SAT and college applications. There is also the additional threat for LGBTQ+ students who fear bulling and abuse not only at home but also at school. Many girls are also preparing for dealing with unfair sexism in school. Im not saying that boys do not face unfairness in school. Im all about equality here, but girls face two to three times more inequality at school. From dress codes to being the bunt of sexual jokes. And all my depression fighting, anxiety conquering readers are obviously facing the hardest tasks of the year. I have a message for all my readers, and even people just passing by this blog. You Can Do This. You are stronger then all of your obstacles that you are facing. Good Luck. You Can Do It.

I Know Im Late...
Gay Marriage Is Leagalized!!!!!!! I have never been more thrilled in my life. That was a monumental day for this country, the Melting Pot is finally giving rights to one of the largest minorities. Congrats to all my LGBTQ+ friends who finally got to tie the knot with their one and only.

I guess one of the most interesting things about me is that Im a First Degree Black Belt in Tae-Kwon-Do. I also am a musician. I have played alto saxophone for about 7 years and have been in some form of choir my entire life. I also am an avid animal lover, I have two cats, Carina and Heloise and I am the neighborhood cat feeder for all the strays who I loveably name, since I dont know what their names are. So I guess I own 5 cats, Carin-Bean and HellsBells along with my three major strays, Blossom, Monet and Graham, Yes Im a Crazy Cat Lady and Im not even 20.

Alrighty Loves, I know this wasnt one of my better pieces but Wednesday night I will be posting a piece on the dress code equality.

Gerard Way and Miley Cyrus: Non-Binary, WTF is it???

I love My Chemical Romance, I love Gerard Way, I am such Way Brothers trash, Mikey and 
Gerard are people I love and are inspired by. When I heard about Gerard and his quote, and how he identifies I was inspired. He was in a band that has a lot of fans in the LGBT+ community who were saved by his music. Im not nonbinary but as someone who is part of the LGBT+ community, I was inspired. With his statement, he showed ypu can be a feminine man or a masculine woman. 

As I child I watched Hannah Montana and loved Miley. Even as she grew up and twerked on stage, she inspired me. I dont always agree with what she did, but she was never afraid he be herself. She was bold and didnt care what anybody thought, and when she launched her Happy Hippie campaign and came out as nonbinary. Again she inspired me to be myself. .

Okay so what is nonbinary? 
"Nonbinary gender is an umbrella term covering any gender identity that doesn't fit within the gender binary. The label may also be used by individuals wishing to identify as falling outside of the gender binary without being any more specific about the nature of their gender."(nonbinary.org) In simple terms, if you are nonbinary your sex and gender do not always align. You can even identify that you have no gender, youre gender neutral. Nonbinary means you feel both, male and female, or even neither, no matter you biological sex. 

I didnt know a lot about what nonbinary is, and its confusing and Miley got a lot of publicity for it. Many people dont see how you cannot identify in alignment with your biological sex. many Cisgender people say that nonbinary people just dont fully understand who they are. To the Cis people who are also homophobic people, go screw yourselves. Nonbinary, bisexual, asexual and pansexual are, in my opinion, the most unbelieved of the sexualities of this world. To people who come out (I really hate that term but that is another post) as Nonbinary- YOU ARE AMAZING! YOU ARE AWESOME! GO YOU! You have the bravery to accept who you are even though most people dont fully understand you and who you are. And now to people who have friends who come out as nonbinary accept them people! Theyre just like us they just dont fit in to nice neat society made boxes. No one should fit into nice neat society boxes, there shouldnt even be nice nead society made boxes- thats just some bulls@#t! Talk to them, learn about it, Before this post I knew very little about what nonbinary was, I still dont know everything so please, if you are nonbinary and I got something wrong, please comment and let me know. You go Nonbinary Folks.

Who I Am

Senshi means Warrior.

I am a Warrior.

Im also a female.

To Society, I am not a warrior. I need to watch what I eat. Get a Tan. Get a Boyfriend.

Society pressures women to become a sexual object. To only like men, to only please men. to be looked at, to say little. 

I could go on and on about how F!#$ked up society is and how being who I am is messed up. As a self proclaimed and bullied nerd, and a girl, Ive learned that Im not who I should be according to society. Im not straight, Im not a size 2, Im more concerned about my intelligence versus my looks, Im not one to keep my mouth shut when it comes to sexist behaviors, I dont conform to society. 

To society all high school students are rebellious (not me, I mean not doing homework is the most rebellious I get) they break rules, do drugs, drink, steal, lie and dont deserve respect or responsibilities, yet at the same time we are forced to grow up in a time span of 4 years. 

I guess what Im trying to say here is society is a b%@$h. Thats kinda the point of me writing That Nerdy Feminist because I see so many (oh soooooo f@$#ing many) messed up things that are sexist, racist, homophobic and just plain messed up. I hope you enjoy
